Despite BJP's sweeping victory, Yeddyurappa says he will not ask Kumaraswamy to resign
BJP sees a sweeping victory in the state of Karnataka and the state president of the party Yeddyurappa has said that he is not demanding that HD Kumaraswamy resigns, even though some of his party members have already sought the chief minister's resignation.
Bengaluru: Karnataka BJP president BS Yeddyurappa is firm that he will not ask the chief minister to vacate his post. Yeddyurappa's comments come just as the BJP has seen victory in about 24 seats of the 28 in Karnataka. BS Yeddyurappa had earlier said that the BJP would easily walk away with at least 22 seats.
