Virat Kohli's goal-scoring challenge ends up being crossbar challenge (Watch video)

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is undoubtedly the best batsman in the world across formats. However, it seems like he has decent skills in sports outside cricket, as he recently displayed his goal-scoring skills in football that happen to be near-perfect.

Virat Kohli continues to be rated as the best batsman in the world across formats. However, it seems like his sporting skills are not just limited to cricket.

Kohli has time and again expressed his desire to play other sports while taking part in football, even during team practice sessions. He is undoubtedly an avid football fan, as his ownership of the Indian Super League franchise, FC Goa, proves his love and passion for the sport.

In the same light, Kohli decided to showcase his footballing skills. He recently shared a video where he is seen taking up the challenge of scoring from a long-range through a free-kick.

As he goes for the shot, it turned out to be a nearly perfect goal-scoring shot towards the top-right corner of the post, only to be denied by the crossbar. Kohli was taken aback by the same as he covered his face with his hands. He captioned the post, "Accidental crossbar challenge 😂".

Meanwhile, FC Goa commented on it by saying, "Woah! What an effort! 🙌". Also, Kohli's Indian teammate Kuldeep Yadav commented, using "❤️🙌" emojis, while English Premier League India commented too by stating, "Cracking effort, Skipper 🔥".
