With rising demand KSRTC deploys 2000 buses, extends operations till 7pm
As many people are turning to KSRTC buses to head back to their natives or go to work, KSRTC has decided to deploy 2000 buses. Since there was a demand to change timings of service, instead of ceasing at 6pm, officials have decided to extend services by an hour
To facilitate stranded passengers in different parts of Karnataka, the largest transport corporation in Karnataka has decided to deploy 2000 buses to ferry passengers.
KSRTC security and vigilance director Ram Nivas Sepat interacted with KSRTC staff and inquired about their mental status and directed them to stick to standard operating procedures while on duty.
As there were many complaints regarding non availability of buses in the evenings, the KSRTC will now operate till 7pm instead of 6pm.
The highest number of buses in KSRTC will travel from Bengaluru. Out of the 2000 buses, 400 have been set aside for Bengaluru.
