Mysuru: Despite COVID restrictions, MP Shobha Karandlaje visits Chamundi Hills ; devotees hit out at police

Mysuru: A Karnataka BJP MP was given preferential treatment by police and sent to get darshan at a temple while devotees were prevented due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions. The incident happened at Mysuru Chamundi Temple today (July 17). MP Shobha Karandlaje and her car were allowed while devotees were prevented. As it is Friday, the devotees thronged the temple on this auspicious day (Ashada Shukravara). But due to police’s double standards, the devotees were left disappointed.
