Green Zone Kolar shocked as five with travel history test positive; 24 primary contacts traced

50 days of efforts by district administration to keep Kolar in the Green Zone for Covid-19 infection went in vain as five with travel history have tested positive. Travelers from Odisha, Humnabad, Chennai and Bengaluru have sent Green Zone Kolar into panic mode.

Five people with recent travel history turned the colour of Kolar to a Covid-19 infected region. All the five residents of Mulbagal which is the Taluk represented by Excise Minister H Nagesh, travelled from Covid-19 hotspots.

 While two patients had travel history from Odisha, one each had a travel history to Chennai, Humnabad and Bengaluru's JP Nagar.

 The district administration has traced all 24 primary contacts of COVID-19 patients.

As per information P-906 has seven primary contacts, 907 has six primary contacts, 908 has two primary contacts, 909 has six primary contacts and 910 has two primary contacts.

All of them have been shifted to RL Jalappa Hospital for observation, quarantine and treatment.
