Former minister MP Renukacharya makes mask exhange compulsory during wedding in Honnalli

As part of the message on safety to keep the battle against novel coronavirus going strong, former minister and close confidante of CM BS Yediyurappa, MP Renukacharya has stated that whoever marries in his Constituent Assembly should exchange new face masks instead of floral garlands and rings

 Newlywed couple G Kumar and Shruthi had invited the MLA of the area MP Renukacharya who attended only on one condition; the couple should use their wedding as a platform to spread the message on coronavirus safety.

 The couple's wedding was solemnised by the MLA upon their request and he made it a point to ensure the couple exchange new face masks instead of rings and floral garlands.

 Speaking to Asianet Newsable, Renukacharya said, “These masks will be compulsory during the wedding, this is for the safety of everyone."
