COVID-19: Quarantined man detained for violating lockdown rules, villagers in panic

While the nation has been talking about the recent Tablighi Jamaat that organised a religious convention during coronavirus lockdown, a person, who was told to remain home quarantined, was found roaming freely. After spotting him, villagers in Karnataka’s Ballari suspected that he may have been part of the Jamaat and immediately alerted the police.

The cops arrested the man for violating quarantine rules.

The person had recently returned from Miraj, Maharashtra, and was staying at Kappagal village. The official, after his entry into the village, had ordered him to remain home quarantined.
