COVID-19 lockdown: Cop serves breakfast, lunch to poor on streets

With the 21-day lockdown proving to be extremely harsh on the poor and those on the streets, many good souls are pitching with food and supplies. A cop has joined the club of helpful souls by serving breakfast and lunch to poor on streets. 

Bengaluru: In an act that keeps up his department's image during the distress emerging out of 21-day lockdown, a cop asked his family to prepare breakfast and lunch for over 100 poor people on the streets in his station limits. 

Srinivas who is posted on emergency duty in Shivajinagar took his senior into confidence and is serving food to poor migrants and beggars on the streets. 

Srinivas attached with civil rights enforcement, is posted to Shivajinagar station limits to ensure the lockdown is implemented. While on duty, he noticed beggeas and migrants on streets struggling to get food, Srinivas told his family to prepare breakfast and lunch to be served to them so they wouldn't go hungry.
