Coronavirus: Special pooja in Yediyur for quick recovery of Karnataka CM Yediyurappa

Rudrabhishekam Seva offered to Yediyur Siddalingeshwara for the quick recovery of Karnataka CM Yediyurappa who has tested COVID-19 positive

Bengaluru: Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). In a post on Twitter on Sunday (August 2), Yediyurappa said that he is fine but is in hospital based on doctors' advice.

 

YS Siddalinga Prabhu, a fan of Yediyurappa, performed a special pooja (worship) to Yediyur Siddalingeshwara on Monday (August 3). Yediyur is about 92 km from Bengaluru. God Siddalingeshwara is Yediyurappa's home deity. Rudrabhishekam Seva was offered to the God and prayers were held for the quick recovery of Yediyurappa.

 

Yediyurappa's daughter Padmavathi has also tested positive for the coronavirus, whereas the chief minister’s son Vijayendra tested negative.
