Coronavirus brings change in etiquette for MLA BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan

Former minister and Congress leader BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan has had to alter practices to keep with the etiquette required after the rise in COVID-19 cases in the country

Known for having at least a dozen people near him most of the time, that include followers and police personnel, it seems BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan has been forced to change a few practices.

The MLA who people say is difficult to get over the phone, would meet people when he deemed fit, and has often been seen feeding followers from his plate with his hands during public functions, is now wary of even handshakes.

In a recent incident in Chamarajpet Assembly, during the monitoring of vehicle movement with police after many defied lockdown rules, a petrified Khan was seen asking public not to greet him with handshakes and was quick to pull out hand sanitiser.
