Bengaluru’s BBMP to conduct 100% COVID-19 screening in containment zones
To ensure there is no further spread of COVID-19 infection, the BBMP will now start 100% screening in containment zones and for the entire street where a person tests positive or displays symptoms. The process is set to begin from Friday.
As Bengaluru tops the list of COVID-19 positive cases in the state, the BBMP has decided to launch 100% screening and testing of public from containment zones and also the street where people either test positive or display symptoms.

The process of the swab collection was supposed to start from Monday, but due to non-availability of swab KIOSKS, the process will begin from Friday.
The aim is early detection, isolation and symptomatic treatment to stop further spread.
