The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike's seal down drive is under the scanner as bills for the over two-month seal down drive from June using tin sheets may cost the civic body a whopping Rs 25 crore.

The BBMP commissioner who says the bill at RR Nagar, which had touched Rs 2 crore, attracted his attention as the same tin sheets and sticks and materials are used and shifted from place to place based on requirement.

He said if bills are submitted without due diligence and estimates, they will not be processed and an inquiry into the incident has been ordered.
