BBMP marshals back to imposing fines on people who urinate in public in Bengaluru
After setting a precedent by imposing fines on the public for not wearing face masks and failure to maintain social distance, now they are out preventing the public from urinating in the open. To send a warning, the BBMP has imposed fines on a few and also has tweeted the challan with a picture of such violators.
Those who urinate in public may have their faces shamed in pictures on social media. The BBMP has begun to crack the whip on those who urinate in public. A tweet from special commissioner Randeep D stands as evidence of this fact.
This apart, to help people, the civic body has identified 25 locations where public urinals will come up as tenders have been processed.
