Jadhav had donned the role of the attacker and reached his second ODI hundred at a strike rate of above 150. But soon after he completed his century, he went down in pain. The cramps hurt him bad. It prompted Joe Root to come for help but he too did not do much and the physio rushed to the field.

Jadhav did not want to leave the field. He got back on his feet and smashed Chris Woakes for a boundary over the square leg and the crowd went berserk, yelling out Jadhav’s name. He wanted to finish the job as his skipper egged him to do.

The little man from Pune would save the highlights of his innings in a DVD and play it time and again to relive the moment!
