India vs Australia T20: Fans brave heat, long queues to buy tickets in Bengaluru

As team India are all set to take on the Aussies in the T20I a few days from now, cricket enthusiasts swarmed the stadium, in a bid to lay their hands on the all-important tickets. From braving the sweltering heat to standing in serpentine queues, fans did not mind even a bit as they stood for hours outside Chinnaswamy Stadium to obtain the elusive tickets.

If cricket is a religion, then cricketers are nothing short of gods. To have that one glimpse of their favourite cricket stars in action, fans don’t mind rain or shine. As Australia kick-start their India tour on February 24 in Vizag, the second T20 will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on February 27.  On Tuesday, fans waited in long queues, as counters opened. Thousands braved the sweltering heat and serpentine queues, to purchase tickets.

The 40,000-capacity stadium will play host in the Australia Tour of India which will be held between Feb 24 and March 13 much to the delight of Bengalurean fans.

The match in Bengaluru is scheduled to begin at 7pm.
