Love marriage?

Yaduveer and Trishika grew close to each other while pursuing their studies in America.

Yaduveer completed his graduation from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, majoring in Economics and English. Trishika, meanwhile, graduated from Boston University.

However, Yaduveer’s biological father Swaroop Anand Gopal Raj Urs says both were friends and the marriage was fixed by the family.

Will Yaduveer-Trishika have children?

For nearly four hundred years now, the Mysuru royal family is said to be suffering the effects of a curse placed upon it in 1612 by Alamelamma, the wife of Tirumalaraja, the then ruler of the Vijayanagar empire.

The story goes that the soldiers of Mysuru kingdom tried to snatch the huge jewels that Alamelamma happened to be wearing on her person during a visit to Thalakad, a small temple village on the banks of the river Cauvery.

Choosing death before dishonour, she leaped in to the Cauvery to drown. With her dying breath she cursed the Mysuru line, declaring that they shall never have children to built a stable dynasty.

It has been 400 years since and the direct Wadiyar dynasty has never had any children. Every alternate generation, they adopt a son, who has children, but his children never beget more scions.

But since Yaduveer is that 'alternate' line - an adopted child, it is presumed his family life will be peaceful and normal.
