Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Thiruvananthapuram constituency: All three fronts- LDF, UDF, and BJP- expect victory margins to be narrow, with no clear winner expected to secure a majority exceeding twenty thousand votes.

Kerala CPI(M) state secretary MV Govindan said that E P Jayarajan would remain as the LDF convenor amid controversies related to meeting BJP leader Prakash Javadekar a year ago.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sobha Surendran said that Kerala's LDF convenor E P Jayarajan was ready to join the BJP, however, a phone call allegedly from CM Pinarayi Vijayan led to backing out from the decision.
