A woman named Swapna, a former councillor, suffered an electric shock while disconnecting an electric car from a KSEB charging station in Mannam, near Paravur, Ernakulam. Swapna sustained injuries to her left leg and fingers and later lodged a complaint with the police.

A 38-year-old man died from amoebic encephalitis after being treated for two weeks at the Kasaragod Government General Hospital and a private facility in Kannur. Manikandan, who returned home from Mumbai due to fever and seizures, was diagnosed with the condition during tests at the private hospital.

Skeletal remains, believed to be human, were uncovered during the ongoing search for Arjun, a Kerala native and lorry driver missing since a landslide in Karnataka's Shiroor. The remains were found in the Gangavali River, where efforts continue to locate Arjun's lorry.
