Despite overwhelming support for Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, Swamiji remains firm, citing dissatisfaction with Joshi's response to his request for assistance. 

Amidst the accusations levied by MLA Basan Gowda Patil Yatna regarding a purported COVID scam, BJP state president B. Y. Vijayendra has taken a bold stance, challenging the Karnataka government to conduct a thorough investigation. The political arena in Karnataka is currently ignited with a war of words between the administration and the opposition, triggered by Yatna's claims of financial irregularities to the tune of 40 thousand crores during the tenure of former Chief Minister B.S Yediyurappa.
 

In protest against the release of Cauvery River water to Tamil Nadu, state BJP leaders, including Yeddyurappa, Aswath Narayan, and Karajola, were detained as they blocked a road near Mysore Bank Circle in Bengaluru. With two and half years left for the next Assembly election and discontent brewing in, Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa has a new task of achieving 140 -150 seats in the next assembly election. The CM who addressed a meeting at his home district with Karnataka in-charge central leader Arun Singh, was quoted from a release from the party.
