Congress heavyweight Dinesh Gundu Rao is challenged by young BJP leader

Young BJP leader who was instrumental in organising Modi tea stall campaign in over 60 wards in 2014 during Loksabha election challenges Congress working president Dinesh Gundu Rao.

While most of the leader backed out from contesting against Dinesh Gundu Rao, Congress working president, Former Minister Ramchandra Gowda's son, Saptagiri Gowda is all set to take on Congress heavyweight Dinesh Gundu Rao who is working president of the party in the assembly elections. The young leader who was accompanied MP PC Mohan to file nominations said, the Congress leader is interested in roaming to the State and Delhi to boost his image and has done nothing to develop the constituency. The area is messed up with civic issues and also law and order problem. In 2013, PC Mohan contested and lost against Gundu Rao and now this time Gopal Krishna a former BBMP corporator who joined BJP was also a ticket aspirant but backed out as he was sure of defeat. To prove a point to Gundu Rao Sapthagiri Gowda will highlight the poor conditions the Gandhinagar which is represented by Rao for times since 1999. Gowda was instrumental in organising Modi Tea stall campaign in over 60 wards of Bengaluru.
