IAF helicopters deployed to douse Bandipur forest fire
Four helicopters were deployed and IAF personnel are using water from a lake in Gundlupet to douse the fire in Bandipur forest reserve area
Bandipur: Upon the request of the state government to the Centre for help, the IAF deployed four helicopters to douse the raging fire that enveloped major parts of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Water from the lake in Gundlupet is being used to douse the flames. IAF personnel are working relentlessly to contain the forest fire.
