"I am thankful for Congress for having faith towards me. But as age catches up with us, we become weak. I am not in good health to run around and fulfil people's demands," Ambareesh said at his residence on Tuesday when asked about the reason for not contesting from Mandya. Reacting to allegations that Dinesh Gundu Rao said Ambareesh will lose elections in Mandya, Rao refuted the claims. "I have not spoken anything about the survey report or losing election. We are not in a position to speak anything to that effect. I just told him to take a quick decision on contesting from Mandya as delay in campaigning might lead to problems. He is our leader and we want him to win, said KPCC Working President Dinesh Gundu Rao.
