Police on election duty stumble on two-headed snake, 2 arrested

The police checking the vehicles ahead of Karnataka Assembly elections at the Togarsi Checkpost in Shikaripura, Karnataka, were in for a shock when they found a two-headed snake being taken in a KSRTC bus. Two men identified as Manjunath of Bengaluru and Umapathi of Anekal have been arrested for carrying the snake. The two-headed snake is a rarity and is illegally sold for a high price. The snake is said to be taken to Bengaluru. Both have been handed over to the Forest Department for further investigation.
