Incessant rainfall throws life out of order in Belagavi
Heavy rains lash north Karnataka
Belagavi in northern Karnataka is receiving more than its usual share of rainfall on Thursday, May 17. Two hours of heavy downpour almost drowned bridges and washed away several homes in villages in Kittur, Bailhongal and Saundatti. In Bailhongal, water from stormwater drains started spilling onto the roads. However, no deaths have been reported.
