The Uttar Pradesh assembly election verdict has silenced all the critics who doubted whether Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be able to break a nearly four-decade-old jinx and get a second consecutive term in power. 

Votes cast in all 60 Assembly seats in Manipur will be counted beginning at 8 am. In the Manipur election, there were 265 candidates in the fray. Over 78 per cent turnout was recorded in the first phase and over 84 per cent in the second phase.
