QS World University Rankings: Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay broke into the top 150 of the twentieth iteration of the QS World University Rankings, which was released recently. The top 500 universities from India include IIT-Delhi (197), IISc (225), IIT-Kharagpur (271), IIT Kanpur (278), IIT-Madras (285), IIT-Guwahati (364) and IIT-Roorkee (369).
QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a global authority in higher education, unveiled the QS World University Rankings, which was topped by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). MIT continued its remarkable reign at the pinnacle for the twelfth consecutive year, while the University of Cambridge firmly secured the second spot. Meanwhile, the University of Oxford successfully ascended one position, claiming third place.

The rankings are based on a meticulous analysis of a staggering 17.5 million academic papers, coupled with valuable insights from over 240,000 academic faculty members and employers.

This year, QS has introduced its most extensive methodological upgrade to date, incorporating three novel metrics: Sustainability, Employment Outcomes, and International Research Network.
