Bengaluru: The chairperson of Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KSCPCR), Anthony Sebastian has said he will probe the issue of children begging near traffic signals in and around Bengaluru’s Koramangala for "school fees". The children’s behaviour of running away from Asianet Newsable camera and also showing some note book to seek school fees has raised doubts that there could be a mafia behind this. About six children from Jain Bharathnagar in Anekal were seen begging near Koramangala. The children who were caught and confronted by Asianet Newsable team, revealed that they were asked by their family members to go out and beg for money on the pretext of seeking school fees.
