Karnataka Assembly by-polls: Congress candidate uses phone inside Bengaluru polling booth; man clicks photo of EVM

Yeshwanthpur Congress candidate P Nagaraj was caught speaking on phone inside a polling booth in Bengaluru. In another incident a voter was caught clicking the photo of the EVM after casting his vote at Ulsoor Bazaar Street in Shivajinagar constituency of Bengaluru. Karnataka Assembly by-polls are underway today (December 5)
 


Bengaluru: Congress candidate P Nagaraj from Bengaluru’s Yeshwanthpur constituency was seen speaking on the phone inside a polling booth during the Karnataka Assembly by-polls on Thursday (December 5). It is not allowed for any candidate or voter to use their phones inside a polling booth. He continued to speak as he was being inked. He disconnected the phone as he reached the ballot unit.

In another incident from Bengaluru’s Shivajinagar constituency, a man was caught after he clicked the photo of the EVM after casting his vote. The incident was reported at Ulsoor Bazaar Street polling booth.

Karnataka Assembly by-polls are underway in 15 constituencies.
