Girl from Punjab tortured in Malaysia, Congress govt accused of not providing jobs for youths

A girl from Punjab sent to Malaysia was brought back with the efforts of AAP leader Bhagwant Mann as she complained of torture by the family she was working for in Malaysia.

Moga: A girl from Punjab who was being tortured in Malaysia was brought back to India, after AAP leaders took an interest in the case. The victim accused a travel agency of collecting Rs 80,000 from her with a promise of getting her a job at the house of a Punjabi family. But when she reached Malaysia, she was forced to work for some family that beat her up and tortured her. She had appealed to the Punjab government but when there was no action taken, AAP leader Bhagwant Mann helped get her back to India's Punjab. The Congress government in Punjab is accused of not providing enough job opportunities for youth that has forced them to try jobs outside the state and the country.
