DK Shivakumar returns to Bengaluru, receives grand welcome at airport

Congress MLA DK Shivakumar is back in Bengaluru and his return has been celebrated by his supporters outside the Kempegowda International Airport. Congress party workers, supporters of DK Shivakumar had gathered in large numbers to give him a grand welcome. 
 

Bengaluru: Congress MLA DK Shivakumar who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case has returned to Bengaluru after a brief stay in Tihar jail. 

DK Shivakumar was given a grand welcome outside the Kempegowda International Airport by fans and supporters of the Congress. 

Folk dancers and musicians were also roped in to welcome him. DK Shivakumar’s was gifted a 20 ft garland of apples weighing 100 kilograms. 

DK Shivakumar, for the longest time had been glorified as the troubleshooter in the Congress. He was arrested for allegedly laundering money and was in Tihar jail, but is now out on bail. 

Former chief minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy stated that DK Shivakumar’s arrival which is being criticised by some and celebrated by others needs to be taken sportively.
