Coronavirus screening camp set up at Kerala-Karnataka border

The state government of Karnataka is taking all precautionary measures to tackle the deadly coronavirus that has been spreading at a rapid pace

Chamarajanagar: With Kerala reporting 3 cases of coronavirus and declaring it as a state disaster, Karnataka government has immediately swung into action and has set up a screening camp at Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Chamarajanagar district, which is situated on Kerala-Karnataka border. All the commuters (either public or private transport) taking this route and entering the state are being screened by a team of medical staff. After proper examination, the commuters are allowed to proceed. Forest officials and local police are also assisting the medical staff.
