Coronavirus outbreak traps Pakistani woman camped at Amritsar railway station

Senior citizen named Khadija is trapped in India as the borders have been sealed owing to coronavirus outbreak. She said she is now helpless and doesn’t know what to do till train operations resume. 

Amritsar: With India and Pakistan sealing off borders amid the rapid spread of coronavirus, many people have been left stranded in both the countries. One such woman is Khadija, who came to India on February 28 on a one-month visa. But now, she is trapped in India and has no means to return to Pakistan with her visa expiring on March 27. The woman has been camping outside Amritsar railway station. Not aware of borders being sealed, Khadija went to Amritsar to reach Pakistan and since then has been trapped there.
