Tamil Nadu farmers are protesting at Jantar Mantar and also outside the Prime Minister's Office in New Delhi for more than a month demanding waiver of their agricultural loans and seeking drought relief.

The students do not have any affiliation with any association and student body. Apart from supporting the farmers’ protest, the students are also condemning the Tamil Nadu police action against protesters who are opposing the opening of TASMAC outlets in residential areas.
