This isn't the first instance of PM Modi highlighting KCR's purported attempts to align with the saffron party. Earlier, at a rally in Nizamabad, PM Modi disclosed that KCR sought to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) post the BJP's significant win in the Hyderabad municipal polls.

An independent candidate, who was contesting the Telangana Assembly elections from Nizamabad Urban constituency,  allegedly died by suicide linked to an online 'sextortion' attempt by cyber fraudsters, said police. The 30-year-old was asked to pay Rs 10 lakh by the cybercriminals.
 

The mishap occurred when the platform constructed on top of the vehicle broke, leading to KTR's fall, Suresh Reddy landing on the road, and Jeevan Reddy losing balance and falling.

This visit follows the PM's recent rally in Mahabubnagar, where he kickstarted the BJP's campaign for the forthcoming assembly polls. The Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat is currently represented by BJP's D Arvind, who had defeated K Kavitha in the 2019 elections.
