Telangana MP Kavitha asks Nizamabad people’s blessings for the Chief Minister

Telangana MP Kavitha asks Nizamabad peoples blessings for the Chief Minister

Telangana TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) Nizamabad MP and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha asked the women of Nizamabad to bless the CM for his struggle and hard work in trying to make Telangana a Golden Telangana. She participated in the distribution of sarees during Bathukamma festival on Monday in Nizamabad.

The Telangana government has started a scheme of distribution of sarees to women on the eve of Bathukamma festival. Kavitha speaking on the occasion of distribution of sarees in Nizamabad requested the women to bless their brother KCR as he wished to gift sarees to all the women.

She said that there are one crore four lakh women in the state and in Nizamabad district alone the government is distributing 5,13,000 sarees of which 90,000 were being distributed in just Nizamabad town.

She also said that there are two big festivals in Telangana, Saddula Bathukamma and Dasara. She said that KCR had worked for a separate Telangana and is now working to develop the state.

She said when he enquired as to how much it would cost for an old couple to live, he was told it would be Rs 736 per month. KCR then rounded it up to Rs 1000 and increased the pension from Rs 200 to Rs 1000.

Kavitha also talked about KCR’s welfare schemes to all classes of society. She reminded that he made Bathukamma and Bonalu as the Telangana state festivals and had sanctioned Rs 10 crore for the festival. She also reminded the people that KCR distributed clothes for the poor during Ramzan and Christmas festivals. She then conveyed her festival greetings to the people.

She also sang the Bathukamma songs and participated in the festivities along with the other women.

The program was attended by Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Zaheerabad MP BB Patil, MLCs VG Goud, Bhupal Reddy, Akula Latha, MLAs Ganesh Gupta, Bajireddy Govardhan, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Asannagari Jeevan Reddy, Shakeel Amir, ZP chairman Dafedar Raju, Mayor Akula Sujatha, DCCB chairman Gangadhara Rao Patwari and local representatives.
