CPM convert Kerala killing fields BJP Ram Madhav

BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav has hit out at the CPM in Kerala, saying the party's cadres have gone berserk and converted the state into "killing fields".

Terming the CPM's ideology as violent, Madhav said the communists have done violent things all over the world. The BJP leader also said that his party would propagate the "misdeeds" of the LDF government in Kerala through social media.

"Marxist party cadres have gone berserk. They have the clandestine support of the state government, converting Kerala into killing fields," reports quoted Madhav as saying. "Communists in their history have done this all over the world. Communists' ideology itself is very violent. They have done this in Bengal earlier and they are doing this in Kerala and Tripura.

Will gouge out eyes of Kerala's CPM workers: BJP leader Saroj Pandey

Madhav's comments have come a day after an RSS activist was allegedly attacked in Kannur on Sunday. The local BJP unit has alleged the attack was the handiwork of CPM workers in the area.

Nidesh, 28, was critically injured and was shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Kozhikode. He had suffered serious injuries on his hands and legs. "Yesterday, one of our supporters was attacked in Kerala. We have to fight against fascist violent forces of Communism and Marxism," Madhav said.

The comments come at a time when the BJP is conducting out a 'jana raksha yatra' in Kerala, protesting against the attacks on its workers, allegedly by the CPM workers in Kerala. The march, which was flagged off by BJP chief Amit Shah in Kannur earlier this month, will conclude at state capital Thiruvananthapuram on October 17.
