BJP confident of overthrowing TMC govt; achieving 50% vote share in West Bengal polls
According to the statistics presented by BJP national president JP Nadda, BJP is all set to overthrow the Trinamool government in West Bengal. At a virtual meeting of the state BJP working committee on Thursday (September 10), JP Nadda gave statistics on the rise of the BJP wave in Bengal politics. Nadda said that 50% vote share is mandatory in the 21st election.
Kolkata: The BJP all-India president has set a goal to overthrow the Trinamool government from the state of West Bengal. At a virtual meeting of the new state BJP working committee on Thursday (September 10), JP Nadda gave statistics on the rise of the BJP in Bengali politics. On this day, Amit Shah's successors (September 10) created huge pressure on Dilip Brigade. Jagat Prakash Nadda said that 50 percent vote share is mandatory in the 21st election.
Jagat Prakash Nadda also said that in the 2011 elections, the BJP's vote share in West Bengal was 4 percent. Later in 2016, it stood at 18 percent. But in 2019, the vote share reached 40 percent. In the next Assembly Elections, the percent of the vote will have to be increased to 50 percent. Only then, the Trinamool Congress be uprooted from the state.
The meeting of the new working committee of the state BJP was held at Maheshwari Sadan on Central Avenue on Thursday (September 10). State BJP president Dilip Ghosh, assistant observer Kailash Vijayavargiya, Arvind Menon, state executive member Mukul Roy and central secretary Rahul Sinha were present in the meeting. BJP president Nadda also attended the meeting virtually from Delhi.
Criticizing Mamata Banerjee, Nadda said, “Ram Mandir is linked to the aspirations of crores of Indians. When the entire country was watching the bhumipujan on August 5, Mamata Banerjee imposed a lockdown in Bengal and prevented people from taking part in the celebrations.”
But the same government lifted the announced lockdown on July 31 on the occasion of Bakri Eid. We have no problem with the government calling off lockdown during Bakri Eid celebrations. But why was the government so firm when it came to Ram Mandir?” said Nadda, addressing the BJP state executive committee’s first meeting on Thursday (September 10).

Raising the name of Trinamool on the issue of corruption, Nadda said, “After cyclone Amphan when the state was devasted, the Trinamool party busy stealing ration rice while the BJP workers have delivered food and money from house to house.”
After Nadda's speech, the Trinamool did not stop retaliating. The party's secretary-general Partha Chatterjee said, “All the BJP leaders are saying the same thing. The politics that Mamata Banerjee is doing are for everyone and for the protection of the culture, tradition, democratic rights of Bengal. She is fighting for the people of the state. We do politics for the people. We do not do politics to ignore people.”
