Germany is bringing in mega oxygen plant that can produce 4 lakh litres of oxygen a day

The entire configuration of the oxygen generation system includes two 20 foot containers, two power generators and a loading bridge with the material. The latter is a loading area that can be parked from the truck without a crane or forklift truck. The system can be operated independently even if the power supply fails on site.

<p>India on Thursday received the first part of a Mobile Oxygen Generation and Filling Plant from Germany to help hospitals in India which are facing a shortage of oxygen amid the surging cases of Coronavirus.<br />&nbsp;</p><p>The plant has a capacity to produce 4 lakh litres of oxygen per day.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;</p><p>"A two decade long strategic partnership! Deeply grateful to our trusted partner Germany for providing a massive oxygen generating plant. Capacity to generate up to 4 lakh litres of O2/day. Being shipped in 2 parts. 1st part arrived today. Further boosts our oxygen capacities," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said in a tweet.&nbsp;</p>
