Nizhal fame Remya Suresh recently took to her Facebook account where she shared a video saying she was devastated to see morphed porn video going viral on the internet.
FollowInternet is a scary place, and anyone can become the victim of online trolling or abuse. Recently in one such incident, Nizhal fame and popular Malyalam actress Remya Suresh's morphed porn video made rounds on the internet.
Suresh took to her Facebook account, where she shared a video saying that she was mortified to see the morphed porn video surfacing online. The actress even broke down after seeing the video going viral as it is wrongly attributed to her.
In the video, she says that the facial features matches her, and is distinguished by her friends but not by others.
"Surprisingly, her facial features match with me, people who know me can tell the difference if they look closely, but I am afraid others won't be able to see that difference," said Suresh.
"I know that the person in the video is not me. And my husband also shares my confidence, which gives me courage. And officials at the police were also very supportive towards me. And they promised to do everything they could to help me," she said in the video.
Suresh even broke down in the Facebook video by sharing her thoughts on the morphed video. "And they even gathered the details of the person who shared the video. I was confident and felt brave when I returned home. But, I have been getting a lot of messages on my Facebook page. I am afraid of what I will tell my friends when they call me after watching that video. Because at first glance, the girl in the video looks like me," she added.
Suresh had filed a complaint with the cyber cell in Kerala against the morphed video. Reportedly Superintendent of Police in Alappuzha has taken the complaint, and they will look into the matter.
