On Saturday, India continued to pile pressure on England on Day 3 of the third Test at The Oval in London. At the end of the day's play, India extended its lead to 171 runs, thanks to opener Rohit Sharma's century and Cheteshwar Pujara's 61.   • All his Test centuries have come in odd years.
  • He has scored joint second-most tons in England across formats with Viv Richards (8), while the record lies with Don Bradman (11).
  • His 145-ball half-century is his slowest in Tests, while his 204-ball century is also his slowest in the format.
  • He has reached his Test ton via a six on second-most occasions (3) after Sachin Tendulkar (6).
