Navy Day 2020: Saluting India's bravehearts

India is today celebrating Navy Day, which commemorates the Indian Navy's attack on Karachi harbour during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

As part of celebrations marking 50 years of victory over Pakistan in 1971 war, Asianet News online met three of our heroes. 

Two of them -- Commodore varun singh, Commander Vikrant Singh -- fought against terrorists in Jammu Kashmir.

Captain Milind Mokashi was the commander of INS Sumithra, which succefully rescued Indians and citizens of 42 foreign countries from Yemen during the civil war in 2015.
