NEET 2021: From dress code to prohibited items; here's a guide for all students
All examinees must wear a face mask and hand gloves and observe the Covid-19 safety rules at the test site.
FollowThe National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test 2021 will be held on September 12 for over 16 lakh applicants who registered today - September 12 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. across 202 cities. The test will be held not just with COVID-19 safeguards in place but also with solid security and anti-cheating systems. The NTA has installed jammers, invigilators, and CCTV cameras, among other security measures. Furthermore, there are several restrictions that students must observe, ranging from admission time to dress code. Here is everything you need to know before taking the exam:Â
Dress code for girls
Full sleeves, intricate needlework, flowers, brooches, or big buttons are not permitted for female examinees. Shoes are not permitted; however, slippers and sandals with low heels are acceptable. Earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, and anklets are all forbidden.

Boy's Dress Code
Male applicants should dress in half-sleeve shirts, T-shirts, slacks, and plain pants. They should be aware that full-sleeved shirts are not permitted in the NEET test. Zip pockets, large buttons, and clothing with intricate needlework are not permitted. Candidates should wear slippers or other essential footwear with thin soles because closed shoes are not permitted.
Any stationery item, communication gadget, accessories, eatables, decorations, or any other material or information relevant or unrelated to the paper's examination is forbidden.Â
Candidates with diabetes, on the other hand, are permitted to bring eatables such as sugar tablets/fruits and clear water bottles with prior notification.
