You may be familiar with people buying electronic goods abroad because they are expensive in their own country. When it comes to iPhones, the prices vary from country to country, and seemingly are cheaper in Hong Kong than in China.

It isn't easy to sneak a few iPhones and smuggle them into China through the security checkpoint. And, one woman attempting to do it is probably having a pretty bad time right now.

When a petite woman suddenly stood out in the crowd for her slim arms and legs and rather a large torso, she had already grabbed the attention of custom officials, as per a by XMNN (via Telegraph). Moreover, a large sweater was a giveaway that something is fishy, owing to the hot weather.

Under the layer of clothes were 102 iPhones and 15 luxury watches snuggled tightly. The entire package weighed 44 pounds, which is almost 20kgs. What was she thinking? She was caught when entering the Shenzhen via Hong Kong.

It should be noted that this isn't the first time someone was caught smuggling iPhones into China. Back in 2014, a man tried smuggling 94 iPhones and was caught due to his suspicious posture.

If you are thinking why smuggle so many iPhone into China, essentially considering they are built there? The report adds that iPhones are cheaper in Hong Kong than in China. So, selling them in China would mean making a sizeable profit.
