Chairless chair: When you want to sit anywhere

This is among the most unique wearable devices that we have seen. Imagine, you are waiting in a long queue and want to sit down and relax. You can carry this chairless chair and squat wherever you like.

 

Built by Germany's Noonee and Switzerland's Sapetti, the device can be strapped to the wearer's legs. It acts like an exoskeleton that can easily lock with a touch of a button, serving as a chair. The exoskeleton is said to be light and flexible.

Users can adjust the height. It could prove to be useful for workplaces with standing jobs and also for people with disabilities. It claims that users can easily walk around, without any difficult, and simply squat when they want to. There is no word on the pricing. 

 

On the flip side, it is still unclear if the chair could affect the posture or so on. This report points out the possibility of denying workers proper breaks since they have such a tool.
