The National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Bengaluru allowed PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani to visit Kerala on Saturday. The PDP leader was granted permission to visit his ailing mother and stay in the state for eight days.

He will be visiting Kerala from 4-12 July and the court has instructed Kerala police to ensure his security.
The Supreme Court had on Thursday granted permission to Madani to visit his ailing mother. The apex court also said that the period of stay could be fixed by the trial court.
Madani's mother is battling cancer and is said to be in critical condition.
The PDP leader is under trial for his alleged involvement in the 2008 Bengaluru bomb blast case.
He had visited Kerala twice after his arrest in 2010. He visited his mother in May 2016 and stayed in the state for five days. Before that, in March 2013, he came to Kerala to attend his daughter's marriage.
