Lathicharge

Nearly thousand people gathered at a liquor shop in Kolkata. The liquor shop queue almost violated section 144 issued in the area. Police had to open lathicharge to disperse the crowd.
 

After the lathicharge against Muslim community members for defying lockdown rules and gathering in large numbers to offer prayers at a masjid in Gokak, Dharwad Police did the same at Shar Police Station limits. 

As the members of Muslim community defied the countrywide lockdown order and entered the Masjid in Karnataka’s Gokak, the police resorted to lathicharge to quell the crowd and later took the Imam of the Masjid in the jeep
