Pranab Mukherjee continues to be in coma. Doctors attending to the 84-year-old said he is being treated for respiratory infection and continues to be on ventilatory support.

After undergoing brain surgery, Pranab Mukherjee went into a coma. Doctors are monitoring his condition 24 hours a day. His renal parameters are slightly deranged since Monday (August 24), said the hospital.

Bengaluru corporator was admitted to Santosh Hospital for minor surgery to remove nasal abscess on November 13. However, within 45 minutes after surgery, he suffered a heart attack and slipped into coma.
