A high-level delegation is set to depart for the UK to expedite the extradition of India's most wanted fugitives. The mission aims to identify and seize their assets, especially in the UK, and discussions are planned with UK authorities to obtain pending information on the fugitives' holdings.

During the hearing of a plea filed by the former liquor baron, Mallya's counsel made the petition seeking a stay on the confiscation of all properties owned by him and his relatives. Mallya petitioned that no other properties other than that of Kingfisher Airlines should be attached.

The Apex court bench led by Justice UU Lalit directs Mallya to deposit back $40 million with interest within four weeks or his property would be attached.
