  • The authority has imposed prohibitory orders under CrPC and AP Police Act to prevent any incidents of violence.
Excitement precedes Baahubali section 144 imposed in Andhra

As Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is about to get released, the excitement is raging among fans and moviegoers. In Andhra Pradesh, the movie is releasing on Friday at 5:30 am, and approximately 95 percent theatres are screening this movie over the first weekend.

However, those who have failed to book tickets might have to wait for another week to watch the movie as tickets are already sold out or blocked till next five days in most of the theatres, reported The New Indian Express. This is despite a considerable hike in ticket prices both in multiplexes and single screen movie theatres across various cities in the state.

In northern districts of Andhra Pradesh, the moviegoers are displeased as the district administration has barred selling of Baahubali 2 tickets over the counter. The administration has taken this decision as a precautionary measure due to the stampedes during the screening of Baahubali: The Beginning.

The only way to get tickets in these districts is via online booking. However, the authority has exempted those theatres that do not have online booking facility, reported the daily.

Meanwhile, the authority has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) and Section 30 of AP Police Act to restrict movement of people in groups in the main towns of the state. During the released of the Baahubali: The Beginning fans of Prabhas and Pawan Kalyan ended up clashing and to prevent it authorities are being strict. In fact, state officials have also held a meeting with fans association and gave counselling.
