Nokia 6 and Moto G5 Plus are some of the early entrants, we believe, to reach Indian shores and we've put the Moto G5 Plus and the high-end among the trio Nokia launched, Nokia 6, in the right for a faceoff.

Verdict
At a glance, the Moto G5 Plus looks stylish while the Nokia 6 could instantly have a nostalgic connect with users. But, that is not enough as the Indian smartphone owners can be quite unforgiving, considering there is no dearth of options.
Now, it is difficult to comment on their performance until we've taken them for a spin, but on paper, both look almost at par. However, we could expect better performance from the Moto G5 Plus, owing to the mid-range processor compared to the entry-level chipset seen in the Nokia 6.
On the other hand, the Nokia 6 gets the brownie points for a better camera at 16MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras compared to the Moto G5 Plus. It also has a larger display which means more viewing real estate, but the 5.2-inch display on the Moto G5 at a similar resolution would mean sharper images and better screen quality. The Moto G5 Plus and Nokia 6 come with similar battery, run Nougat and fingerprint scanner.
The price will play a big role, as the sub-₹20000 phone segment is inundated with options offering superior specs at affordable prices. So, it is to be seen what price tags these devices carry. Going by what is known, the Nokia 6 will be priced around ₹16000 and the Moto G5 Plus at ₹19000. The Nokia 6 is available in 32GB and the Arte Black glossy version comes with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM for a higher price tag. These prices aren't really attractive, with Chinese vendors pushing out a similar set of specs for under ₹15000. Going by specs, on paper, the better processor and early availability of Moto G5 Plus could give it an edge over the Nokia 6.
